Swingtec produces true ULV machines that have median droplet spectrums of 15-25 microns which corresponds to WHO Guidelines for ULV aerosol application of chemicals for vector control and effective disinfection. The advantages with ULV applicators with droplet VMD of less than 30 microns is –
1. Far less use of chemicals to achieve coverage – eg. A typical mistblower require 50 – 200litres of chemical per hectare while these machines require less than 5 litres. From a safety standpoint this is a great asset and is more cost effective by a considerable margin in chemical consumption.
2. With droplet ranges down to 1 micron the chemical can get into and cover even very small cracks or fine spaces effectively.
3. Large area coverage in a short space of time with the possibility of point usage as well.
4. Different sized machines for larger spaces for faster application.
5. Flexibility to adjust flow rates per hour from an application rate of 0.8 l/ha in ULV mode to 44.6 l/h in LV mode for different applications.
6. The machine can be used to disinfect offices, large spaces or even vehicles effectively and quickly. They can be also converted to vector control purposes if and when this situation changes.
7. ULV creates almost complete disinfection of all spaces and is much more comprehensive and faster than manual means.

9. Machines are available in 110 or 220 versions.
